MMIS Project ManagerClient requires a Medicaid Project Management expert with experience with deep technical expertise and extensive experience managing federally/state government agency projects. The candidate will have the ability to ensure project success by reviewing architectural documentation, application designs and programming code to ensure the project moves forward in the most efficient possible route and ensures successful implementation. Must have the ability to review and approve detailed design documentation. Skill set requirement1) 4+ years of Project Management Experience with healthcare or federally mandated projects from an IT perspective.2) 4+ years of Experience supporting the delivery of IT development projects3) 4+ years of Experience conducting and participating in System and User Acceptance Testing of information technology system changes.4) 3+ years of experience gathering, documenting, validating and maintaining technical requirements used by information technology staff for system development5) Understanding of Medicaid Management Information Systems and their relationship6) Experience with MS-Project7) Experience with MS-Word and MS-Excel including complex formulas8) Exposure/Experience managing an IT shop involving various programming languages, ie COBOL, Java, .Net.etc9) Experience creating or reviewing architectural designs and systems inventory for the purposes of ensuring successful implementation of IT projects.10) Experience leading meetings, keeping conversations focused and driving timely project deliverablesLocation:Springfield, Illinois.
