Senior Application Developer- TIBCO: The TIBCO Application Developer reviews, analyzes, and modifies midrange business systems including encoding, testing, debugging and installing for midrange, distributed and web based computing environments. They will work with project managers and team members to develop a wide range of project and system level documentation. May also provide leadership for less experienced programmers. Accountabilities : Works with enterprise architects to stay abreast of planned and future business and technical directions as it relates to the company's evolving needs Works with project teams and unit level team members to ensure strong technical alignment with documented development standards, SDLC, and coding frameworks for all application development efforts Mentors and coaches lower level technical staff Works on multiple projects that require in-depth knowledge across multiple business segments and technical platforms with specific expertise related to the web platform Independently analyzes applications and determines how to improve performance, features, and reliability. Interfaces with business partners, IT leadership, and IT Architecture to assist with future system plans, enhancements, and direction. Provides expert level assistance for web applications project teams, Helpdesk, and operations support teams Provides consultation as technical and systems business expert on key business systems Designs, develops, recommends, and implements quality business solutions into a highly dynamic computing environment — often with complex testing requirements Responsible for application analysis, tuning and measurement to ensure appropriate performance and reliability based on documented SLA's Maintains frequent contact with IT Operations, Helpdesk, and other areas to ensure appropriate support, reliability, security, disaster recovery, and planned implementations/outages are addressed/communicated Provided effective written and verbal communications in a professional manner to management, business partners, associates and external resources Responsible for systems audit findings and related resolution activities Assists management in strategic planning and unit level roadmaps This position must be familiar with and provide expert level support for a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedure. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Develops and maintains browser based business systems and sites Provides consultation as technical and systems business expert on key browser based systems and platforms Provides expert level support for browser based systems design, functionality, and estimate of effort Provides lead technical role in planning and delivery of browser based business systems Recommends and implements quality business solutions into a highly dynamic browser based computing environment — often with complex testing requirements Responsible for web site analysis, tuning, and measurement to ensure appropriate performance and reliability based on documented SLA's Maintains frequent contact with multiple IT and business areas to ensure appropriate support, reliability, security, disaster recovery, and planned implementations/outages are addressed/communicated Provides effective written and verbal communications in a professional manner to management, business partners, associates and external resources Responsible for systems audit findings and related resolution activities Assists management in strategic planning and unit level roadmaps Bachelor's degree in Computer science, Information Systems, or other related field, Or equivalent work experience. 6-8 years of progressively more responsible work experience in development of complex systems. Must have a commitment to continuing education. Appropriate industrycertification (s) a plus. Expert in designing the Business State Model, Decision Table using TIBCO Business Events. Expert level skills with TIBCO tool set that includes TRA, BW, Designer, Hawk, Admin, Adapters (CICS, MQ, ADB, File), RV, EMS. Expert level skills with TIBCO EMS tool (includes topics, queues, bridges, MQ-JMS communication, MQ-JMS communication, etc.) Expert level skills with other TIBCO BW plug-in likes MQ, CICS, etc. Expert level skills with TIBCO for upgrades, security risk assessment. Strong working knowledge with SaaS Vendors and its integration environment. Strong working knowledge on Fail-over and load balancing concepts in TIBCO environment. Strong working knowledge on TIBCO Admins, scripts, deployments, debugging features, security certs. Capacity planning for EAI Servers. Strong knowledge on SOA framework, webservices. Preferred Mainframe Experience with Batch and Online programs (COBOL, CICS, JCL, VSAM, TSO, Endevor, DB2, DB2 stored procedure). Preferred TIBCO Business Events and Spotfire (Not must) Stored Procedures (DB2, SQL) Expert level working knowledge of client-side and server-side scripting languages Expert level working knowledge of SQL query Working knowledge of one or more modern programming languages (C#, Visual Basic, Java, C++) Working knowledge of Visual Studio and modern code repository products Strong work knowledge of SDLC and Project Life Cycle principles Must be eligible to work in the United States without Employer Sponsorship
